LIC Chairman M R Kumar gets an extension for one year till March 2023 – The Centre has announced to extend the tenure of M R Kumar, the Chairman of IPO-bound Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) by one year, till March 2023.
- It is his 2nd extension for Mr Kumar.
- Prior to this, Govt gave a nine-month extension to Mr Kumar from June 30, 2021, till March 13, 2022.
- M.R. Kumar assumed the charge as Chairman of LIC on March 14, 2019.
