Lavity Stoutt’s Birthday is celebrated every year on the first Monday in March. In 2024, it will take place on March 4. Lavity Stoutt was born in 1929, in Tortola, on the British Virgin Islands. He was the first and the longest-running Chief Minister of the British Virgin Islands with the general elections five times. History
Hamilton Lavity Stoutt joined the British Virgin Islands secondary school. He worked as a retailer thereafter for 15 years before joining politics.

In 1967, Stoutt was elected the first Chief Minister of the British Virgin Islands. He had served three non-consecutive terms between then and 1971, 1979 to 1983, and 1986 until he died in 1995.
