  • The Former Ranji Trophy player from Kerala state Jayamohan Thampi has taken his last breath at the age of 64. during the 80’s, he was a wicketkeeper-batsman (right-handed) and had played six matches for Kerala. he was one of SBT team’s main players. beside this, he worked as junior selector for the Kerala Cricket Association.
  • Jayamohan Thampi was from Alappuzha and before, he served as employee of the State Bank of Travancore and later, he participated in many tournaments such as league tournaments.

What KCA president Sajan Varghese said ?

“He was one of the finest individuals to have played for Kerala. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family”.
