International Press Freedom Awards 2020
- The Committee to Protect Journalists(CPJ) has made an announcement of International Press Freedom Awards 2020. CPJ has named for Journalists Shahidul Alam (Bangladesh), Iranian Journalist Mohammad Mosaed, Nigerian Journalist Dapo Olorunyomi and Svetlana Prokopyeva from Russia. these four Journalists will be awarded with International Press Freedom Awards 2020 for their courageous actions. apart from this, lawyer Amal Clooney also has been kept in the awards list 2020 and will receive Gwen Ifill Press Freedom Award 2020.
Award Ceremony 2020
- The award Ceremony will be hosted on November 19, 2020, at CPJ’s annual benefit gala. The President of Open Society Foundations Patrick Gaspard will play role as chairman. journalist Lester Holt of NBC News will host award Ceremony 2020.
