INS Talwar Participates in Maritime Exercise Cutlass Express 2021
On 26th July 2021, Exercise Cutlass Express 2021 has been started and will conclude on August 6, 2021. Indian Naval Ship (INS) Talwar is participating in Exercise Cutlass Express 2021 along the East Coast of Africa in Mombasa, Kenya the main aim of this exercise is to improve combined maritime law enforcement capacity and increase interoperability between the regional navies.
- The Exercise Cutlass Express 2021 (CE21) will continue from July 26 to August 06, 2021.
- The 2021 edition of the exercise icludes the participation of 12 Eastern African countries, US, UK, India and various international organisations, such as International Maritime Organisation (IMO), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Interpol, EurEuropean Union Naval Forc (EUNAVFOR), Critical Maritime Routes Indian Ocean (CRIMARIO) and EUCAP Somalia.
