ICC announces ICC Player of the Month awards
On 27th January 2021, The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a list of ‘ICC Player of the Month’ awards for both male and female cricketers from all formats of cricket.
From performances from youngsters January

- Washington Sundar (India),
- T. Natarajan (India),
- Rishabh Pant (India),
- Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Afganisthan)
Established players January
- Ravichandran Ashwin (India)
- Joe Root (England),
- Steve Smith (Australia),
- Marizanne Kapp (South Africa),
- Nadine de Klerk (South Africa),
- Nida Dar (Pakistan)
ICC statement
“An independent ICC Voting Academy comprising former players, broadcasters, and journalists from around the world, will team up with fans to vote for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month and ICC Women’s Player of the Month,”
ICC Nominations and voting process
The three nominees will be picked up by the ICC Awards Nominations Committee. the selection will be based on on-field performances and overall achievements of that month.
