  • The national maritime security coordinator (NMSC) will be part of the National Security Council Secretariat after the 26/11 terror attacks and will report to National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.
  • G Ashok Kumar will serve for coordinating between all the agencies involved in maritime security and maritime civil issues.
  • He will play a role in improving the country’s blue economy needs.
