Every year, Friday Fish Fry Day is observed on the first Friday of Lent and it will take place on February 16 this year. The day is celebrated primarily in the Midwest, however, citizens in the United States can celebrate this all-American tradition. Friday Fish Fry Day aims to offer an opportunity for friends and families to gather in their favorite restaurants to enjoy their favorite pieces of fried fish. History
The first annual Friday Fish Fry Day was held on February 19, 2021, and was organized by Wisconsin local and fish enthusiast Caleb Westphal.
