  • Mr Chetan Chauhan has taken his last breath at the age of 73 in Gurugram, Haryana. he was suffering from COVID-19 disease. he was a cricketer and Uttar Pradesh’s Minister. as a cricketer, he scored 2084 runs in 40 Tests matches for India and hit 16 half-centuries.
  • Along with it, Chetan Chauhan was elected as Chairman of NIFT between June 2016 and June 2017 and also chosen to the Lok Sabha from Amroha in Uttar Pradesh for two times. he had served as minister for youth and sports in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Political Career –

  • He was related to BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). from Amroha, he served as a member of the Lok Sabha between 1991 and 1998. he faced a loose in 1996, 1999 and 2004.
  • In the year 1981, Chetan Chauhan was given the Arjuna Award. he served as Home Guards, PRD and Civil Security in the UP Cabinet during his career.
