Daytona Pole Day is held on Sunday (the weekend) before the 200-lap 500-mile race at the Daytona International Speedway (popularly known as the Daytona 500). In 2024, it will take place on February 18. A driver must complete the fastest single lap in the final of three rounds in the knockout qualifying session around the 2.5-mile tri-oval superspeedway for getting the pole position.
