Every year, the Day of Ashakalia is observed on February 15. It aims to appreciate the importance of the Ashakali community in Kosovo. The day is held as a public holiday in Kosovo and is dedicated to eliminating discrimination against the community and promoting education among the Ashakali children.
History
In 2008, The Kosovo region turned its hands several times and finally proclaimed independence.
