Loans worth over Rs 23 lakh crore sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana so far
Over 40 crore 82 lakh loans amounting to over 23 lakh crore rupees have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana to date. 21% of the total loans have been sanctioned to new entrepreneurs. Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 8th, 2015 with the aim to facilitate easy collateral-free micro-credit of up to ten lakh rupees to non-corporate, non-farm small and micro-entrepreneurs for income-generating activities.
- Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana helped in the generation of large-scale employment opportunities at the grassroots level.

3rd edition of Jammu Film Festival to commence at Abhinav Theatre
The 3rd edition of the Jammu Film Festival will start on 8th April 2023 at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. Festival Director Rakesh Roshan Bhat informed that the festival will feature screenings of over 50 feature films, short films, and documentaries from 11 countries. the renowned theatre and film personality MK Raina will be the celebrity guest at the festival.

The Education Department conducted the “New India Literacy Environment building programme” for Panchayati Raj Institution members and senior citizens of Zanskar Sub Division at Padum in Ladakh. the 33 village coordinators have been selected for the survey for setting up literacy centres.

The Telangana state government’s initiative called the “Kanti Velugu Programme” to prevent controllable blindness, has achieved a milestone by screening one crore people for eye problems. The second phase of Telangana’s Kanti Velugu programme was started on 19th January and will be held till 15th June.

30 contestants of the 59th Femina Miss India 2023 Grand Finale reached Imphal on 7th April 2023. The Grand Finale will be held at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium in Imphal on the 15th of April 2023. the Grand Finale of Femina Miss India will be held in Imphal for the first time in the entire North East Region.

SAI integrates Khelo India Games Certificates with DigiLocker
The Sports Authority of India (SAI) integrated Khelo India Games Certificates with DigiLocker for the first time. Now, the Khelo India Games participating athletes and other stakeholders can access their certificates of merit and participation from the Khelo India Youth Games 2022 in Madhya Pradesh onwards.
- It will allow for the online sharing of Certificates with consent.
- It will help in offering real-time verification of Certificates, as different stakeholders.
- It can directly verify the data after obtaining consent from the Certificate holder.
