PM Modi to hold talks with Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida in New Delhi

Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 20th March 2023 in New Delhi. the meeting will aim to discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. India-Japan Bilateral trade stood at 20.75 billion dollars last year. Japan is the fifth largest investor in India.

Second meeting of SFWG under India’s G20 Presidency to begin in Udaipur

The second meeting of the Sustainable Financial Working Group (SFWG) under India’s G20 Presidency will be held on 21st March 2023 in Udaipur of Rajasthan. The event will be held at Hotel Radisson Blu, banks of Fatehsagar lake. more than 100 delegates from the member countries of the G20 will join the event.

‘Pongala’ celebrated in Ajman UAE paying obeisance to Mother Goddess Shakthi

‘Mandaikadu Amman Sea Samaj international’ (MASSI- UAE) celebrated Pongala Utsav in UAE, paying obeisance to Mother Goddess Shakthi by making 108 offerings. The ritual was conducted at the goddess of Mandaikadu Amman Temple, a Hindu temple where Goddess Shakthi is the prime deity. The Mandaikadu Bhagavathi Amman Temple is known as the “Women’s Sabarimala”. The temple structure is similar to that of the Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple in Kerala.

Asia’s largest Tulip Garden

Asia’s largest Tulip Garden has been opened to the public in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the opening ceremony and asked people from all over the world to visit J&K and discover the mesmerising beauty of 16 Lakh tulip flowers and enjoy the warm hospitality of the people of Jammu Kashmir.

ISSF World Cup Shooting Championship to begin at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh

International Shooting Sports Federation- ISSF World Cup Shooting Championship will be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 20th March 2023 to 27 March, is being organized in collaboration with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Rifle Federation of India. It will be the 8th World Cup scheduled in India and the 1st international shooting tournament to be held outside New Delhi.

  • Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate this event. 325 shooters from 33 countries and more than 75 technical officials will be part of the World Cup Shooting Championship.

Every year, The International Day of Happiness is celebrated on March 20, aimed at promoting the significance of staying happy and ensuring the general welfare of all people. in 2013, the United Nations first observed this day and was an initiative that was first stressed by Bhutan, which believed in the importance of national happiness. The theme of International Day of Happiness for this year has been kept as “Be Mindful, Be Grateful, Be Kind.”

World Sparrow Day 2023

Every year, World Sparrow Day is observed on 20 March to raise awareness among people about how to prevent the extinction of these species. it is an action commenced by the Nature Forever Society of India along with the Eco-Sys Action Foundation of France. this day comes on Saturday in 2021. it also creates awareness about sparrows, their species, and the conservation measures to protect these feathery birds from extinction.

Nature Forever Society, India, an NGO by Mohammed Dilawar (internationally acclaimed conservationist) along with other global organisations conduct World Sparrow Day. The main objective of the Nature Forever Society is to save common flora and fauna including sparrows by involving citizens.
