Chinese communications satellite ChinaSat 1D: China has launched a new communications satellite named ChinaSat 1D (Zhongxing 1D) successfully, and This launch marked the 399th mission for the Long March series carrier rockets. the satellite was launched by a Long March-3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest Sichuan Province.
- The satellite, ChinaSat 1D (Zhongxing 1D) has been Developed by the China Academy of Space Technology.
