CBDT signed MoU with MoMSME
- The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India (MoMSME) has signed a MoU with Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). as per MoU, CBDT will share data to MoMSME Ministry . the MoU will come into effect from 20th july 2020.
Provisions under MoU –
- As per MoU, MoMSME ministry will get data from Income Tax Department.
- After sharing Data, MoMSME will check and classify enterprises in Micro, Small, and Medium categories.
- both the organizations will also need to elect Nodal Officer and and find best Alternate Nodal Officers that can facilitate the process of data exchange.
