Autonomous Vehicles Readiness Index 2020 –
On 19th August 2020, KPMG has published a report headline with 2020 Autonomous Vehicles Readiness Index (AVRI). as per AVRI 2020, India is standing at an important place to utilise autonomous vehicles (AV) owing to poor infrastructure, technology and regulations.
The report focuses on four (4) parameters they are: policy and regulations, technology and innovation, infrastructure and consumer acceptance.
In the term of consumer acceptance, India has got the last spot but, in the term of the availability of infrastructure, India is ahead than Brazil.
