Ajai Malhotra as Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the UN Human Rights Council
Ajai Malhotra is appointed as the Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the United Nations Human Rights Council. after his appointment, he will be the First Indian who will serve as Chairperson.
- In 1977, he joined the Indian Foreign Services.
- Also, Ajai has served as ambassador to Kuwait between 2009 and 2011 and later served from 2011 to 2013 to Russia.
- From 2005 to 2009, he also worked as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York.
