Aditya Birla Capital elected Vishakha Mulye as next CEO – Vishakha Mulye has been elected as new Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Capital and will become the first female to join the board of Aditya Birla Management Corporation, the conglomerate’s top decision-making body. the appointment of Vishakha was approved by the board of directors on the basis of the recommendations of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee.
- Vishakha Mulye will replace Ajay Srinivasan, who is taking up other responsibilities within the group, as per the exchange filing.
- She will assume the charge as the next Chief Executive Officer of Aditya Birla Capital from June 1st, 2022.
- She will operate as the CEO with Srinivasan for a month to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
- Currently serving as the Executive Director of ICICI Bank, Mulye will serve as the CEO of Aditya Birla Capital Limited post this period.
