India and Russia will conduct the 14th edition of the Indian- Russia bilateral naval exercise INDRA, scheduled from 28 March to 2 April 2025, off the coast of Chennai. Since its inception in 2003, INDRA has boosted naval cooperation and operational synergy between the two nations.
Exercise INDRA aims to enhance maritime cooperation and strengthen diplomatic ties. It will also build bridges of friendship between India and Russia along with exchanging best operational practices.
